RATE OF PAY: $105,498 per year

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Construction shop drawings for façade and carpentry trade. 

  • Produce architectural designs, create 3D rendering models and sketches for projects. 

  • Shop drawing coordination for subcontractors, architects, or engineers.

  • Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements. 

  • Conduct zoning and building energy analyses.

  • Produce architectural plans and details, utilizing creative and innovative solutions while conducting thorough material and product research.

  • Navigate the NYC DOB permitting process and prepare drawings for DOB review and to resolve objections from DOB.

  • Visit construction sites to ensure builder compliance with design and advise on corrections.

Requirement: 

  • Master's degree in Architecture or related field.

  • Proficiency in using design software: Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD.

  • New York State Architecture License.

  • Visit construction sites in the 5 boroughs of NYC and Jersey City, NJ once a week
